With more than 30 years of legal practice, Haralds specializes in corporate, commercial law and insolvency. He has led several major insolvency cases, including the administration of JSC Liepājas Metalurgs, the largest corporate insolvency in Latvia. He has also contributed to the development of national legislation in the field of insolvency as participant in working groups of the Latvian Parliament. His sector experience includes environment, energy, natural resources, and metallurgy, reflecting long‑standing work with industries undergoing structural and regulatory transformation. He has extensive experience in complex litigation across a wide range of civil and commercial disputes. As well as he regularly advises and represents international clients, working on cross‑border matters across Europe. Attorney at law, arbitrator at Riga International Arbitration Court since 2004, insolvency administrator since 2003.
